Cane is an ancient glassworking technique that originated in Murano, Italy centuries ago and remains one of the most respected and challenging methods in the glassblowing world. Combining this time-honored tradition with the vibrant and expansive color palette available to us today makes it possible to create pieces like the one you see here.

A note from the Artist...

As someone who identifies as queer, the Pride theme has always resonated deeply with me. I wanted to create a piece that was not only among the finest examples of our craftsmanship, but also one that carried a meaningful message. The heart marble serves as a reminder of what this piece is truly about: Artistry and love. Love is Love, no matter whose heart it comes from. Much like glass itself, love is beautiful, colorful, and fragile. I can honestly say that I am as proud of this piece as any I have ever made. My hope is that it fills your heart with as much love and joy as it brought me while creating it.
